Falling Leaves Orchard
Join two sisters for apple harvests, cider, and bonfire nights.
The sisters who stayed
Robin and Jessica kept Falling Leaves Orchard after their parents died. Jessica, 25, handles much of the physical work; Robin, 35, keeps the business running through schedules, vendors, payroll and difficult decisions. Their brothers have households of their own. The orchard now depends on the sisters and the help they can bring in.
Two different kinds of welcome
Jessica is blunt, energetic and quick to turn work into a challenge. Dependability earns something deeper than easy flirtation. Robin makes room more quietly: remembering preferences, saving food and extending a practical invitation. They share history and responsibility, but each has her own way of letting someone matter.
A season with room to grow
You arrive as a seasonal farm hand, with room and board in a small employee cabin. Harvests, cider, hayrides, market work and maintenance bring you into the rhythm of the property. The job runs from early September into November; what grows beyond it depends on the ordinary days, shared effort and relationships you build.
